our morning sessions set you up to start your morning with intention, rather than letting the day run away from you. lifting your mood and energy levels will help you act from a really grounded place instead of reacting which can mess the day up, essentially you are more in control and less flustered. 

as with many things in life, small changes lead to big results. it’s the compounding effect of a consistent positive morning routine that can impact our lives in many ways. 

iamlovingkindnessnetwork sessions are dedicated to filling our members to the brim with positivity and lovingkindness gems so you can feel good all day.

and as our sessions are livestream over zoom so you can access them easily from the comfort of your own home.

be part of your morning routine

start your day with a lovingkindness morning  booster session!  the beauty of life is in the living of it. and the living of life is now. yes it is fine to make grand, wonderful plans and to then bring those plans to life through your efforts. yet do not ignore the quiet, stunningly beautiful treasures in each ordinary moment.  happiness is not in some distant place of perfection and pleasure. happiness is waiting for you to give it life in this moment. if all your dreams were to suddenly come true, you would have no use for them. for the real essence of their joy is in the journey you take to reach those dreams. it is in working your way through each day, one moment after another, that you connect with the value of life. every flavour of experience adds to the richness in one way or another.  do not put a lot of effort into judging whether today is good or bad, happy or sad. just go ahead and live it with a thankful heart and you will surely experience this day’s own special value.

morning check ins

our morning check in to share how we feel is normally it’s limited to 2 or 3 words depending on how many people are in the session & of course you don’t have to do it. it’s really powerful, it connects the group, it allows the member to express their thoughts out loud, we become more aware of what is going on in the mind instead of being in state of automatic negative thinking (ants). this awareness creates room to change behaviours. it might be the only time members get say how they feel that day. do this daily it’s a game changer!

holding the ‘space’ for all

our sessions are held in a respectful way, holding the space for all. the iamlovingkindness facilitator takes the members through the uplifting material/content  and leads on affirmations which members can participate out loud or mentally affirm. if there is time members may have time to check in and in two or three words say how they feel that morning or evening.

if there is time for shares members will be invited to share on content in the session always from the their perspective and not cross sharing on what others may of said already.

by gently calming ourselves and consistently tapping into positive stimuli we interrupt the negative self-talk, start being kinder with our thinking and distracting ourselves, our thoughts, feelings and beliefs will also change over time and we become healthier.

at iamlovingkindnessnetwork our daily virtual sessions are designed to give everyone the space to be seen and for members to hear motivating and uplifting content in a safe and loving virtual environment.

instead of being locked into the cycle of our disproportionate negative thinking we can lift our selves into the positive and really effortlessly from the comfort from our homes reap the amazing benefits of having positive stimuli and connection on a daily basis.

we all have a need to maintain the integrity of the self, a global sense of personal adequacy. events that threaten self-integrity arouse stress and self-protective defences that can hamper performance and growth. to counter act our ants (automatic negative thinking) positive affirmations can boost our confidence, reduce negativity, reduce self belief and produce positive changes in many areas of our lives. they can act really quickly.  

when we focus on something, we give it tremendous power 

do you consciously control your thoughts to focus on positive outcomes? or do you allow your subconscious mind to let negative & unhelpful thoughts go unchecked?

at the iamlovingkindnessnetwork we include affirmations in the morning sessions and this has a phenomenal effect on your day. it’s also really good fun and and yes gives you a boost to your day. 

the power of affirmations lies within your subconscious mind. that is also where the negative mind sits & using affirmations they will override that negativity thus improving your mood and outlook throughout the day. when you remove mental barriers, replace negative self-talk, and develop empowering affirmation habits you’ll reap the benefits immediately.

the benefits are individual to everyone and what’s better than  saying affirmations? saying them in a group.  try it tomorrow in one of our morning sessions and see how you feel.

the practice of being consistent with your affirmations quickly has a positive impact on your life.  this could look like an improvement in your overall health and happiness, leaving you energised and empowered.

what are positive affirmations?

affirmations are short, positive, powerful statements put simply, they are positive phrases about yourself and how or what you’d like to be. a positive affirmation in itself is a beneficial thought that can boost your confidence, reduce negativity, reduce self belief and effectively produce positive changes in many areas your life. they act really quickly. 

so if you wake up in the morning and feel a bit low they pick you up and can turn the day towards a positive note.

initially many people find them a strange thing to do and may find it a bit awkward at first 🙂 it’s helpful to recognise that most things we do for the first time feel a bit strange and then after a while we are like a duck to water and really enjoy them.

examples would be:

‘I let go of (negative memories and focus on a positive future).’

‘I accept (myself for who I am).’

‘I walk (tall and with confidence).’

‘I build (new levels of confidence every day).’

‘I integrate (positivity into every action I take).’

‘I am thankful (for those who love and care for me).’

you might find this a powerful way to get ready for work everyday and/or implement into you morning routine. research (carried out in Psychological Science November 2005 vol.16 no.11) identified that affirmations can lower cortisol (the stress hormone) and help reduce stress on both an emotional and physical level. 

affirmations can promote higher levels of self esteem and optimism. people find they are automatically thinking good thoughts and that mindset has a positive ripple effect into all parts of their lives.
