do you have an attitude of gratitude?

count your blessings. feel good, enjoy good health and more happiness

writing in a gratitude journal three times per week might actually have a greater impact on our happiness than journaling every day.

don’t overdo it. evidence suggests writing occasionally (1-3 times per week) is more beneficial than daily journaling. that might be because we adapt to positive events and can soon become numb to them—that’s why it helps to savour surprises.*

journalling tips there’s no wrong way to keep a gratitude journal, but here are some general instructions as you get started. read more..

positive peer group

who you spend time with is who you become. you have mirror neurones, imitation neurones, when you spend a lot of time with people you start adapting and adopting their same language, thought patterns, and who you spend time with you become.

choose a positive peer group, we all need someone to encourage us, educate us, to cheer us on and be a positive influence in our lives. choose wisely about the people you allow to influence how you feel about yourself!

when you have found that person(s) also be that person for somebody else and influence the  good in their lives.

holding the ‘space’ for all

our Community sessions are held in a respectful way, holding the space for all. the iamlovingkindnessnetwork facilitator takes the members through the uplifting material/content  and leads on affirmations which members can participate out loud or mentally affirm. cameras on on or off are entirely the members choice.

if there is time for shares members will be invited to share on content in the session always from the their perspective and not cross sharing on what others may of said already.

iamlovingkindnessnetwork is a safe virtual space for all its members – in support and in kindness for all.

watch for the ants

ants (automatic negative thoughts) – your brain is like a super computer and self talk is like a software program we run.

your mind is always listening to everything including your negative self talk. after while if you keep saying something repeatedly to yourself again and again what was a tiny ‘ant’ becomes a self belief.

as they say argue with yourself about your limitations and you will get to keep them. so be mindful about what you are saying to yourself.

also remember we are built to have a negative thought first. we are still using our hunter-gatherer minds and it’s just trying to protect us.

we can take a breath, watch our  thoughts arise, first is negative (to protect us from the lion in the forest)  then a positive thought arises and then pause and then there is a neutral thought.

iamlovingkindnessnetwork we use the affirmation ‘relax, relax’ throughout the day that has a powerful effect on the body and the mind and keep’s the ants at bay. take a look at ‘self talk’ dialogue to keep you relaxed and in control of your happiness read more

iamlovingkindnessnetwork sessions are dedicated to filling our members to the brim with positivity and lovingkindness gems so you can feel good all day.
